It's been one long, tragic year. That girl, what was her name? Marilyn, how could I forget. Such a beautiful and young child. Was hardly 18 years of age and what a life cut short. How innocent how perfect, she didn't want to harm anyone and I was fully aware of that. She was a child not hardly an adult at all. She was still learning many things about life, but her biggest lesson soon came. I didn't want her dead, I called in to just about anyone's professional assistance, no one could do a thing. Why, I ask myself, every day, night and evening. The EDS was very small, currently being refueled as I write, and in fact to small for two even is the other is 100 pounds or so, or it would be thrown off course. This breaks my heart, more than anything, I promised this young girl that she may write a note to Gerry, a worker on the planet Woden. By some odd miracle, I contacted Gerry, for the last time. Marilyn, pronounced her goodbyes, and poured out her love for him. I buried my head wiping my hot tears away. The fuzzy static messed up the communication, Gerry was gone verbally but, Marilyn soon spiritually. I dare to describe the airlock. I killed a living being, one could say I was an old man shifting toward my seat and controls. I'm, so so sorry Marilyn, but rules are rules... Here I am reader, a year and a few months later, my adventures will never end, and this was the start of it all.
